Should I buy a Crystal Icing case or put the crystals directly on my gadget?

At Crystal Icing, we love customizing your favorite things, whether you get a case or put the crystals directly on the product.  Some of our customers prefer the permanence of having our artwork directly on their phone or laptop without the extra bulk of a case.  But our cases are incredibly popular because you don’t ever have to worry about sending your things to our studio.  

With a Crystal Icing case, you get to keep your phone by your side and impress all your style-savvy friends.  
Plus it’s great to be able switch up your case from time to time. Get a few and match your moods and your outfits!

How long does it take?

All of our designs are crafted by hand with each and every stone being applied one at a time.  When you order a cell phone case, we ask for 7 - 10 business days to complete the project before shipment.  If you send us your actual phone, iPod or camera, we’ll ship it after about three days (we know how hard it is to be without your phone!)  Custom products and larger items like laptops, guitars, game consoles or iPads will take a little longer.  But if you’re in a rush for a special event, let us know and we will see what we can do to accommodate you. We have a special White Glove Rush Service upon request for additional fees.

I love the designs in your gallery, but can I order something different?

We love working with our customers to come up with new designs and personalized products.  Since each piece is made by hand, we can do a lot together to come up with a something that is absolutely perfect for you.  The gallery is just a starting point for your creativity.

Love this design but want it in blue instead of pink?  Want to personalize something with your name, logo or initials?  Or maybe there’s something you just haven’t seen yet that you’d like us to crystallize for you?  Our design team is more than happy to give you the individual attention that you deserve.

How do I send you a custom design idea?

After you place your order, a designer will contact you if you have selected custom design.  Together you will work to create a work of art all your own. If you have a picture that you can send us, please email it as an attachment to sales@crystalicing.com.

Will the crystals stay on?

YES!  However, you want to treat it like it’s jewelry!  Be careful not to drop it or let it scrape up against anything.  If you happen to lose some crystal, we have a one time repar free of charge!  We also include some extra crystals with your order, just in case which you can do quick fixes with regular super glue. However, there is a fee if you happen to drop or break your case.  

What kind of guarantee is there on the work you do?

We stand behind all of our work, 100%.  If the crystal needs to be repaired, we can fix it.  But because each piece is made to order, our products are not returnable or refundable.  However, if there is a part of the design that you are not satisfied with, we will be happy to fix your item so that you are in love with it!

How do I choose which product I need for my style phone?

Smartphones like the iPhone and Blackberry are listed separately.  Just let us know the specific model of your phone when you place your order and we will customize a case for you.  The cell phone option is for smaller, standard cell phones and flip phones.  If you have any questions, please contact us and we'll point you to the correct link.

Are the phones included with the order?

No, we are offering the crystallization service only, unless specified otherwise.

Do you take international orders?

Yes.  Please feel free to place your order through the website, or give us a call and we can take it over the phone.  We ship with UPS for international orders, and will insure your item.  Shipping time is usually around 2 to 4 days for international locations. Once you put your address into the order system, the shipping prices will be calculated for you.
